# A2P Registration

> Register your phone number so your AI can send text messages legally.

**This is the most important setup step.** A2P registration lets you send text messages from your business legally. Without it, your messages may not go through.

## What is A2P?

A2P stands for "Application-to-Person." It's a rule that phone carriers (AT\&T, T-Mobile, Verizon) require. It makes sure businesses sending text messages are real and legitimate.

**Think of it like a driver's license for texting.** You need it before you can hit the road.

## What You Need Before You Start

Have these ready before you begin:

* [ ] Your **legal business name** (the name on your EIN/tax documents)
* [ ] Your **EIN number** (Employer Identification Number)
* [ ] Your **business address**
* [ ] Your **business phone number**
* [ ] Your **business website** (if you have the Revora website add-on, we set this up for you)
* [ ] A **privacy policy page** on your website
* [ ] A **terms of service page** on your website

> **Don't have a website?** If you purchased the Revora website add-on, we handle this for you. If not, talk to the Revora team about getting one set up.

## Step-by-Step Registration

**Step 1: Go to Phone Settings**

1. Click **Settings** in the bottom-left corner of GHL
2. Click **Phone Numbers** under the "Channels" section
3. You should see your phone number listed

**Step 2: Start Brand Registration**

1. Click on your phone number
2. Click **Register for A2P**
3. Fill in your business information:
   * Legal business name (must match your EIN exactly)
   * Business type (LLC, Sole Proprietor, etc.)
   * EIN number
   * Business address
   * Business website URL

**Step 3: Create Your Campaign**

1. After brand registration is approved, create a **Campaign**
2. Campaign type: Choose **Low Volume Mixed**
3. Write a short description of what your messages will say. Example:
   > "We send text messages to property owners and real estate agents to discuss potential real estate transactions. Messages include initial outreach, follow-ups, and appointment scheduling."
4. Add your **opt-in form URL** (your website's contact form or lead capture page)
5. Add links to your **Privacy Policy** and **Terms of Service**

**Step 4: Wait for Approval**

* Brand registration usually takes **1-3 business days**
* Campaign approval usually takes **1-3 business days** after brand is approved
* Total time: about **3-7 business days**

## Common A2P Issues and Fixes

| Issue                           | What to Do                                                                                       |
| ------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| "Brand registration rejected"   | Make sure your business name matches your EIN documents exactly. No abbreviations.               |
| "Campaign rejected"             | Your campaign description must match the consent language on your opt-in form. Rewrite to match. |
| "It's been more than a week"    | Contact Revora support — we'll check the status for you                                          |
| "My texts aren't going through" | Check that A2P is fully approved. Go to Settings → Phone Numbers and look for a green checkmark. |

## How Much Does A2P Cost?

* **One-time registration fee:** About \$25
* **Monthly campaign fee:** About \$11/month
* These are carrier fees — they go to the phone companies, not to Revora
